Chris Do discusses topics vital to the designer such as "how to get paid" and "how to see yourself as an in-house designer" and a bunch of other topics that help put things in perspective. Several of these episodes have been very healing to me personally and have been a salve to thoughts that were suppressed. It took me a long time to understand that launching a career takes a ton of support and especially as a designer you need people you can trust to move you in a positive direction.

I think Chris Do offers concise insight on designer-specific topics and what it is like to BE a designer. It seems a lot of TED talks focus more on the designs and the outcome which closes off the juicy details of the process and the work it takes to get to the final product.
